πŸ’‘πŸ‘‘ Having A Bad Day?

When you have a bad day … and they are inevitable … are you taking the time to pause and pray for the Spirit’s help? I’ve noticed that when I don’t stop, catch my breath and ask for His help, things begin to snowball and my day feels ruined. The worst part? I begin feeling shamed. But God has shown me that shame leads us away from His presence and peace. Instead, we can view these situations as an opportunity for Godly conviction … where we ask Him to forgive us for letting our emotions get the better of us. When we do so, the slate is immediately wiped clean.

Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us …

The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.

Tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity. That’s the beauty of grace.

Verse of the Day

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
