When adversity strikes, the world keeps telling us: βDonβt let it get you down,β but believers in the Lord Jesus Christ have learned that it is good to let troubles and difficulties get them down β down on their knees.
It is good for us to get down on our knees before God. There is no attitude more appropriate to the redeemed sinner. And as we pray, often falteringlyβ¦.
βThe Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
