β¦even if itβs wrong. Have youΒ ever heard that platitude? In everyΒ dispensation, God has always hadΒ well-meaning children who servedΒ Him sincerely, but without an understandingΒ of His rightly dividedΒ Word, and so did and taught thingsΒ that were dispensationally wrong.Β But in every dispensation thereΒ have also been men like βthe childrenΒ of Issachar, which were menΒ that had understanding of the times,Β to know what Israel ought to doβ¦βΒ (1 Chron.Β 12:32), dispensationalistsΒ who knew where they stood inΒ the program of God, and so knewΒ how to do what is dispensationallyΒ right.
We are not shy to unabashedly proclaim that in the present dispensationΒ of grace, grace believers are the modern day men of Issachar!Β We have an understanding of the times. We know what the BodyΒ of Christ ought to be doing. But with great knowledge comes greatΒ responsibility! Why not get in the battle for truth? After all, itβs notΒ what you know that counts, itβs what you βdoβ (Phil. 4:9) with whatΒ you know. Letβs do something now that we know that what we areΒ doing is right. source
