Revelation 3:8:
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
God opens doors in our lives for various reasons. There can be doors of opportunities and doors that lead us from one season to another. If we are obedient and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us, we begin develop a clarity to find these open doors and the courage to explore within.
The Apostle Paul spoke of an open doors in the following passages …
2 Corinthians 2:12:
“Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened to me by the Lord.”
Colossians 4:2:
“Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ.”
The doors that God opens in our lives lead to new beginnings, new blessings and new opportunities to be effective witnesses for the Lord. Jesus Christ, who awaits us at the front door of God’s Salvation, is the Gate through which we walk and find life. Just as there is only one door to our heart, there is only one door to the heart of God. Let us walk without fear through God’s open doors, knowing that His protection, His provision, His peace and His power will forever reside within us.
[…] The Lord will open doors that are meant to be opened and close ones that are meant to be closed. Sometimes it means walking […]
You’re welcome bro! God Bless!
eExcellent, Thank You
Thank you and God’s blessings to you both!!
I think this also means that the Holy Spirit really does all the work for us (opening the doors and whatnot). We just have to stay pure, not drive the Spirit away, and let it do its work.
Such a wonderful post. Thank you!
